Martha Ann Halsey

Martha Ann Halsey of Potterville, Michigan, 70, received her Angel Wings on Monday, Feb. 20, 2012. In her final days she was surrounded by her family and friends. Martha was born July 11, 1941 in Lake Wales, Florida to the late Joseph and Zilphia Crosby. She is survived by her husband, Ronald H. Halsey; Four children, Cheri St.Claire (fiancé, Jeff Brunner), Kathy (Rick) Stimer, Walter Collins, Jr. and Tammy (Andy) Flynn; Stepchildren, Jan Matlock, Joe Halsey, Kari Halsey, Ronda Halsey and Jody Halsey; 24 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Martha served 27 years as the Benton Township Clerk, dedicating over and above to her community. She had many talents as, master gardener, canner, baker and cake designer. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Friday, Feb. 24, 2012 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home, Charlotte with Pastor Lyne Stul-Lipps officiating. Interment will be in the Bosworth Cemetery, Olivet. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
