Aaron Lee Dilday, age 80, of Lansing, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2018, at his home. He was born June 6, 1938, in Martin, Tennessee the son of Ferrel and Onie (Willie) Dildy. Aaron was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He worked his entire career as a truck driver for the Teamsters Union. Aaron drove for Pabst Blue Ribbon, Builders Ready Mix and Boichot Concrete. Aaron also owned Dilday Party Store in Bath for many years. In his free-time he loved being outdoors. Fishing and camping were two things that brought him much joy. Aaron also loved his boys and their families. He was known to call each of them everyday just to check in. Aaron is survived by his partner of 25 years, Betty Scane; sons: Ben Dilday of Haslett, Ken (Jody) Dilday of Pickford, Glenn (Lori) Dilday of Bath, Dennis (Michelle) Dilday of Bath; 11 grandchildren: Zachary (Megan) Dilday, Spencer Dilday, Cameron Dilday, Ciara Dilday, Leigha (Nick) Montie, Aaron Dilday, Tyler Dilday, Shianne Dilday, Grace Dilday, Lillian Dilday, Emilia Dilday; 3 great grandchildren: Gunner Potozak, Gabriella Montie, and Finnigan Dilday; and many family members and friends to numerous to mention. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Hayes Dildy. In keeping with Aarons wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service may be held at a later date.
