Alan Donald Becker

Alan Donald Becker, age 67, of Potterville, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021. Alan was born September 10, 1954, in Brighton, Michigan the son of Richard and Charlotte (Gray) Becker. Alan graduated from Pickney High School with the Class of 1972. On June 23, 2001, Alan married Ann Marie Mattson at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Lansing. He honorably served his country in the United States Navy. Alan worked all of his life in IT and was currently employed with the State of Michigan. In his spare-time he enjoyed spending time outdoors either hunting, fishing, or working in his garden. Alan was a passionate family man and loved being together with those he loved most. He was a devoted and faithful member of First Lutheran Church of Charlotte. Alan is survived by his wife, Ann; children: Sara (Austin) Dingwall of Vero Beach, Florida, Lisa (Jason) Higgins of Byron Center, Paul (Heather) Becker of Dimondale; grandchildren: Elton Dingwall, Marshall Dingwall, George Higgins; siblings: Brian (Lori) Becker of Livonia, Charis Whigham of Medina, Ohio; and several step-children and step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at 11 A.M. at the First Lutheran Church with Pastor Jim Eggert officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the Burkhead-Green-Kilgo Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Maple Hill Cemetery.
