Alice Anne Williams

Alice Anne Williams, age 87, of Denver, Colorado passed away peacefully with her family by her side on November 11, 2019. She was born April 12, 1932, in Benton Harbor, Michigan, the daughter of Laurence K. and Ihlene L. (Orris) Wilson. Anne graduated from South High School in Grand Rapids in 1950. She married Allen Arthur Williams on September 6, 1953, in Bellevue, Michigan. Anne and Allen lived for many years in Olivet, Michigan where they farmed together. In 1977, Anne and Allen decided to move west, eventually settling in Colorado. Anne enjoyed embroidery, crafting, painting, and reading. She was a Christian and freely shared her faith in our Lord Jesus Christ in her daily life. She was also passionate about music. She played the organ for several different churches throughout the years. After living in Colorado for many years Anne and Allen began wintering in Arizona and would eventually move there permanently. Anne is survived by her children: Sue (Jem) Tu of Aurora, Colorado, Judy (Jim) Nelson of Padroni, Colorado, Bob Williams of Beaverton, Michigan; daughter-in-law, Janice Williams of Bellevue, Michigan; 18 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Allen; son, Donald; and brother, Larry Wilson. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 18, 2019, at 6 P.M. at the Burkhead-Green-Kilgo Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Kalamo Hillside Cemetery.
