Allen A. Williams

Allen A. Williams, age 84, of Florence, Arizona and formerly of Bellevue, and Olivet, Michigan and Colorado died in Florence on April 14, 2012. Born in Bellevue Township October 9, 1927 to Wayne and Martha (Wight) Williams and graduated from Bellevue High School. In 1953 he married A. Anne (Wilson) at the Bellevue Methodist Church and moved to a farm in Olivet, Michigan. In Michigan he was a school bus driver and farmer. In 1977 they moved to Colorado where he was bus driver and business owner. His school bus driving spanned 43 years in Michigan and Colorado. Then they moved to Arizona where he was a park manager and then retired to Florence, Arizona. Allen is survived by his wife of 58 years; his four children, Donald (Janice) of Bellevue, MI, Robert of Beaverton, MI, Judy (Jim) Nelson of Padroni, Colorado and Sue (Jem) Tu of Aurora, Colorado. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his parents, and brother, Arlo. Graveside services and interment will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at the Kalamo Hillside Cemetery, Kalamo, Michigan with Pastor Scott Brood of Ainger Bible Church, Olivet officiating. If desired, donations in memory of Allen may be made to Ainger Bible Church, Olivet, Michigan.
