Anna N. Grimwood

Anna N. Grimwood Charlotte, formerly of Nashville Age 85 died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011. Anna was born July 2, 1926 in Carson City, MI the daughter of John and Nellie (Willliams) Henry. She had been a resident of Charlotte for 27 years before moving to Nashville in 1979. She returned to Charlotte about 3 years ago. She was employed in the Nursing Dept. at H. G. B. Hospital, Charlotte from where she retired after 14 years of service. Surviving are 4 children, Joann (Jerry) Taylor of Charlotte, Charles (Linda) Grimwood, Jr. of Mancelona, Mark Grimwood of Charlotte and Philip (Vee) Grimwood of Sunfield; 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and sister-in-law, Juanita. She was preceded in death by: Infant son, John Michael in 1951; Husband, Charles G. Grimwood in 1998; sisters, Mabel Myers & Irene Haines and brothers, Kenneth, Daniel & John Henry, Jr. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A. M. Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home, Charlotte with Rev. Lyne Stul-Lipps officiating. Interment will be at 2:30 P.M. Saturday at the Ferris Twp. Cemetery in Montcalm County. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
