Anthony Tyler Burgess

Anthony Tyler Burgess; age 27, of Charlotte, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 5, 2021. He was born November 18, 1993, in Alma, Michigan, the son of Todd and Karin (Goodwin) Burgess. Anthony cherished his family. He enjoyed spending time together with them every opportunity he had. He shared an extra special bond with his sisters, Brittiany and Ciara, who will miss him greatly. Anthony enjoyed riding dirt bikes and hanging out with his friends. As a talented artist, he loved to draw. Anthony loved working together and spending time with his Pop-Pop Bud throughout his life. Anthony is survived by his children: Savannah Burgess, Jaxson Burgess; father, Todd (Tina) Burgess; mother, Karin (Goodwin) Burgess; siblings: Brittiany (Ethan) Smerdon, Ciara Lawens, Bailey Lawens; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 10 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. at the Burkhead-Green-Kilgo Funeral Home, 206 W Lawrence Ave., Charlotte, MI. Those desiring, may make contributions in Anthony’s memory to the family.
