Arlene Rose Schneider

Arlene Rose Schneider, age 87, of Eaton Rapids, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018, at the Eaton Community Palliative Care in Charlotte. She was born November 29, 1930, in Clintonville, Wisconsin the daughter of Ernest and Jennie (Craw) Bussian. In her younger years Arlene and her sister Alice sang in a western band called the Melody Mountaineers. They performed on radio station WTCH out of Shawano, WI. They were known as the "Sagebrush Sweethearts". The band was very well known throughout the area at the time. On May 22, 1954, she married Earl Schneider at the Congregational Church of Embarrass. Arlene was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an active member of the First Lutheran Church of Charlotte for many years. Arlene is survived by her husband of 63 years, Earl; children: Tammy (Michael) Harri, Todd (Denny Lysakowski) Schneider, David Schneider; grandchildren: Amanda (Phil) Shedd, Michael Schneider, William (Chelsea) Schneider, Tyler Harri; and great grandson Haddon Schneider. She was preceded in death by her parents and 5 siblings. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018, at 11 AM at the First Lutheran Church of Charlotte with Pastor Tim Olson officiating.
