Arnold T. Simon

Arnold T. Simon of Charlotte, MI, age 89, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017 at the Eaton Community Palliative Care. Mr. Simon was born January 19, 1928 in Eaton County, the son of August and Carolyn (Wieland) Simon and had lived most of his life in the Greater Lansing area. He was a Farmer and had been employed at the Fisher Body Division of General Motors in Lansing. He enjoyed woodworking and Carpentry. Surviving are: his six children, David Simon of Boise, ID, Roxanne Simon of Carmel, IN, Patricia Ward of Greenwood, IN, Robert Simon of Charlotte, Matthew Simon of Flint, MI and Timothy Simon of Ann Arbor; 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan L. Simon on Feb. 11, 2016 and 5 siblings. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017 at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Charlotte with Rev. Fr. Dwight Ezop officiating.
