Audrey Jane Dillin

Audrey J. (Stahl) Dillin age 83 of Holland, MI, formerly of Charlotte, MI, died Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at the Country Home Care AFC Home in Pullman, MI. Audrey was born Nov. 5, 1927 in Traverse City, MI the daughter of Harold and Jenny (Holcomb) Stahl. She was a Graduate of Eaton Rapids High School and had been employed by the State of Michigan, Dept. of Treasury from where she retired. Previously had been employed by Eaton County issuing Drivers Licenses and prior to that worked for Michigan Bell Telephone Co as a Telephone Operator in Charlotte. She was a life member of the Maple City Post 2406 V. F. W. Auxiliary and had served as Department President of the State of Michigan V. F. W. Auxiliary. She was a member of the Charlotte American Legion Post 42 Auxiliary and was a member of the St. Johns Episcopal Church. Surviving are: her daughter, Jane (Terry) Berkimer of Holland, MI; her son, Stuart (Paula) Dillin of Ludington, MI; 6 grandchildren, Scott (Andrea) Berkimer, Corey (Nicole) Berkimer, Katrina Kiessel, Aaron Dillin, Kyle Dillin and Kim (Mark) Alberts and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emerson V. Dillin in 2006 and by 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Monday, August 29, 2011 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home, Charlotte with Pastor Greg Howard of the Holland Baptist Church Officiating. Interment will be in the Kalamo Hillside Cemetery in Kalamo Township, Eaton County. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-5 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
