Bernadine Leota Waterbury, 92, of Dimondale, formerly of Olivet, went to be with her Lord and loved ones early Sunday, November 16, 2014. She was born November 4, 1922 in Mason, Michigan the daughter of Claude Samuel and Alta (Franklin) Leseney, attended Dimondale Schools and graduated from Holt High School. Was a member of the Olivet Congregational Church and the Women’s Fellowship. Mrs. Waterbury was an employee of Knapp’s department store as a window decorator. During World War II she worked at Oldsmobile and also owned newspapers in Springport and Olivet with her husband. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Glen in 1999; three sons, Robert Elson, Roger Brian and Michael Glen; her brother, Charles Leseney; sisters, Myrna Ann and Ruth Fulton and her parents. Surviving are: her grandchildren, Eric Lilly of Beulah, MI; Sherri Robbins of Lehi, UT; Stephanie Shockroo of North Port, FL; Michael and Joseph Waterbury of Lansing, MI; 15 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In Lieu of flowers, please donate to the Olivet Congregational Church. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the Olivet Congregational Church.
