Bernice (North) Bennett, age 93 of Charlotte, MI, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011 at the Eaton County Medical Care Facility in Charlotte. Bernice was born March 1, 1917 in Chicago, IL the daughter of George and Estella (Lempke) North and was a longtime resident of Charlotte. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Bennett in 1979 and by her sister, Beatrice Coplin in 1995. Private services will be held. Public visitation will be held from 11:00 A. M. until 12 Noon on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home in Charlotte. Interment will be in the Bosworth Cemetery, Olivet, MI. www.burkhead-greenfuneralhome.com
