Bernice P. Huff

Bernice Pearl Huff, age 98, of Belmont, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 5, 2024. She was born December 22, 1925, in Batavia, New York, the daughter of George and Pearl (Hunn) West. On March 15, 1947, she married Lynn Harold Huff. Bernice was a strong woman who knew what she wanted and what she expected of others. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. Bernice had a heart for children and fostered countless children throughout her life. In her spare-time she enjoyed crafting and quilting.

Bernice is survived by her children, Barbara (James) Wood of Allendale, Earlynn (Karen) Huff of Sparta, Louise (Robert) Nelson of Grand Rapids, Wendy (Philip) Eames of Kincheloe, Harold (Debbie) Huff of Barryton, Cindy King of Greenville; numerous grandchildren; many great grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lynn in 2005; children, Edgar Collins, Leon Huff, Gail Huff; siblings, Leon West, Ernest West, and Charles West.

The family would like to thank the caring staff at Care Cardinal of Belmont, Care Resources, and Faith Hospice for the exceptional care given to Bernice.

A private burial took place next to her husband, Lynn at Rosedale Memorial Park in Walker.
