Betty Geary

Betty (Keller) Geary of Battle Creek, MI, formerly of Charlotte, age 93 died Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014 at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital. Betty was born Aug. 16, 1921 in Lansing, MI the daughter of Roy S. and Orphia (Caswell) Keller. She was a retired employee of Kellogg Co. of Battle Creek with 30 years of service. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Charlotte and Trinity Lutheran Church of Battle Creek. She was a member of the Charlotte Country Club, had volunteered delivering Meals on Wheels and while in Florida served as a Teachers Aide. Surviving are: her daughter, Deborah Truxal of Battle Creek; step son, Rob Geary of Washington; step daughter, Cheryl Geary of Atlanta, GA; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and her sister, Irene Kunkle of Charlotte. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gearld Geary and 2 sons, Eric Robinson and Larry Robinson. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, Sept. 25, 2014 at the First Lutheran Church, 550 E. Shepherd St., Charlotte with Pastor Timothy Olson officiating. Interment will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery, Charlotte. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5-8 PM at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home of Charlotte.
