Betty J Davidson

Betty J. Davidson Charlotte, Mich. Age 85, died Sunday, June 12, 2011 at the Eaton Community Hospice. She was born August 4, 1925 in Fowlerville, MI the daughter of Alvin and Blanche (Lockwood) Tomlin. She worked at Wilcox-Gay in Charlotte when she was first married and then when they started their family she helped Maynard on the farm. Later on she worked at Charlotte Junior High in the cafeteria. After her retirement she provided elderly care. She is survived by her 2 sons, Steve (Donna) Davidson of Charlotte and Allen (Wendy) Davidson of Kewadin, MI; 3 grandchildren, Dawn (Ryan) Sevenski, Julie (Kris) Somers of Charlotte, and Jacob Davidson of Newberry, MI; 3 great grandchildren, Stevie Sevenski, Alivia & Nick Somers; sisters, Ellen Benjamin of Fowlerville, Edna Arlene Rebentisch of Westland; her brothers, Lyle Merlin (Sharon) Tomlin of Manton, John Tomlin, Fred (Lois) Tomlin of Fowlerville; sisters-in-law, MaryJean Tomlin, Melva Tomlin, Evelyn Tomlin & Jean Tomlin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Maynard J. Davidson and her son, Roger Davidson; brothers, Emmett Tomlin, Gerald “Dick” Tomlin, Alvin Jr. “Jr.” Tomlin, Marvin “Mike” Tomlin, Theron “Pete” Tomlin & Mac Tomlin. In-laws, Glen & Lucille Davidson, Morey & Pauline (Davidson) Stadnyk. The family would like to give special thanks to Dawn from Sparrow Home Hospice and the staff at Eaton Community Hospice for their compassionate care given to Betty. At Betty’s request, cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home, Charlotte with Pastor John Bailey officiating. The family will receive visitors from 6-9 P. M. Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
