Beverley Emede

Beverley M. Emede, age 83, passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on Monday, July 18, 2022, at Sensations Memory Care Residence in Charlotte. She was born September 3, 1938, in Saginaw, Michigan the daughter of Dewey and Blanche (Parshall) Stearns. After high school Beverley attended college where she earned her nursing degree. Beverley was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her family and cherished each and every moment they were able to spend together. Beverley loved crafting and could often be found working on her next creation. She also enjoyed volunteering at many of her local blood drives and singing in the church choir. Beverley is survived by her children: Erin (Jim) Peitz of South Lyon, Michigan, Kevin (Janel) Emede of Yakama, Washington; grandchildren, Jack Peitz, Ellie Peitz; and sister, Barb Devers. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronald in 2013; daughter, Heather; and brothers: Roy Stearns and Herb Gerber. In keeping with Beverley’s wishes cremation has taken place and no services are being planned at this time.
