Beverly Ruby Menzie passed away at home and went to be with her Savior on Monday, the 28th of November. The daughter of Martin Gall, a Czechoslovakian immigrant, and Ruby Gall, who had Kentucky roots, Beverly was born January 14, 1947 in Genoa, Ohio. She graduated high school there in 1965 and went on to attend the nearby beautician school. Not long after, she met Ohio State Police patrolman, Robert Menzie, and they married in May of 1968. Beverly and Robert had three children before moving to Michigan in the mid-1970s. Charlotte, Michigan had been Beverly's home for the past 40 years. Throughout her life, Beverly clung to her faith in Jesus and was a believer in the power of prayer. She both attended and held women's Bible study and prayer groups. She found the bond of animals therapeutic and loved her pets. Beverly was also very artistic, creative, and before illness took over, had a flair for gardening as well. She loved conversation and loved to laugh. Beverly loved the Lord her entire life and is at peace with Him. Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Ruby, and older sister, Melvina. She is survived by Robert, her husband of over 48 years; sister, Linda; sons, Shawn (Tina), Nathan (Christi); Daughters, Heather (Josh), Kayla (Scott); grandsons, Samuel and Gabriel, along with a niece and three nephews.
