Billie Ray Rose age 52 of Charlotte, MI, died Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011 at the Eaton Community Hospice House. He was born July 3, 1959 in Mansfield, Ohio. He had been a resident of the Dexter A. F. C. since July of 2000. Billie is survived by his caregivers, Sherry Dexter, Mildred Flashaar, their families, along with his house brothers, Bob, Marc, Mike, Roger and Nathan. Billie attended New Hope Community Church. He enjoyed the Tuesday night Adult Handicap Program through Eaton Intermediate since it’s beginning 30 years ago, and took part in many CMH Transitions programs. Billie worked at Charlotte Wal-Mart until he retired in 2004. He then began working part time at Charlotte Peckham. Billie liked bowling, fishing, camping, bingo and sports. Thanks to his programs and home, he did them all. Billie was a happy, caring and kind man. His gentle spirit will be missed by all. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home, Charlotte with Pastor Randy Royston officiating.
