Bruce Wayne Tice

Bruce Wayne Tice, age 53, passed away peacefully at home on June 29, 2022. He was born March 5, 1969, at the Gratiot Community Hospital in Alma, Michigan. Bruce was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a fantastic artist who enjoyed making and sending greeting cards to friends and family. Bruce was a Michigan native who lived in Alaska for the majority of his adult life, coming back to Michigan just seven short months prior to his death. Bruce was preceded in death by his father and step-mother, Bob and BJ Tice of Fairbanks, AK, and twin sister, Brenda (Kurt) Miller also of Fairbanks, AK. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Misty Baxter of Georgetown, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Sophie Lillyannah Marie Baxter and Sawyer Levi Baxter; mother and step-father, Sheryl and Richard Houlden of Waverly, TN; siblings, Bryan (Wioletta) Lytle of Nashville, TN, Betty Jean Hankins of Charlotte, MI, Robert Tice Jr. of Ft. Myers, Florida, Tony (Clara) Tice of Central Lake, MI, Claudia (Rob) Daniels of Boyne City, MI, Harry Houlden of Fairbanks, AK, Walter Houlden of Charlevoix, MI. He is also survived by his nine nephews, two nieces, two great-nephews, and one great-niece. A celebration of Bruce’s life will be held on Sunday, July 10, 2022, from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. at Bennett Park in Charlotte. Those desiring may make contributions in Bruce’s honor to the family to assist with Bruce’s final expenses.
