Carol Barbara Shull

Carol Barbara Shull, age 81, of Charlotte, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019. She was born January 17, 1938, in Mason the daughter of Johan and Nina (Scott) Schutte. At a young age Carol was adopted and raised by her new loving parents, Orval and Almyra Denison. She went on to graduate from Holt High School in 1956. Carol was known affectionately as "Mrs. Jimmy Windows" at her job as a custodian at Coscarellis Restaurant in Lansing. She loved cats and cherished the love they gave to her. Carol enjoyed crossword puzzles, doing word search, and playing scratch off tickets. She is survived by her husband, James L. Shull; children: Scott Hakes of Lansing, Barbara (Thomas) Ongstad of Charlotte; sister, Marjorie Peters; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and 10 siblings. In keeping with Carols wishes cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.
