Carolyn L. Blommer

Carolyn L. Blommer Charlotte, Michigan Carolyn L. Blommer age 76 of Charlotte passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at the Sparrow Hospital in Lansing with her family at her side. Carolyn was born Oct. 22, 1936 in Boston, MA the daughter of Mario F. and Gladys (Brown) Codi and had been a Charlotte resident since 1961. She was a 1954 Graduate of Medford, MA high school, had been involved in the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts with her sons and was currently a member and Secretary of the Mid-Michigan Pet Therapy Association. She was employed at the Michigan National Bank of Charlotte for many years from where she retired. Surviving are: her husband of 53 years, Robert Blommer; three sons, Stephen Blommer of Grand Rapids, Scott (Sandy) Blommer of Charlotte and Kevin (Lynda) Blommer of Bellevue; grandchildren, Michael, Kristin, Jason (Heather), Robert, Cody, Ken (Hope) and Shy (Robert); 8 great grandchildren and her sister, Diane Conner of Medford, MA. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home, Charlotte with Pastor John Bailey officiating. Interment will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
