Carroll L. Mclane

Carroll L. McLane of St. Louis, MI, formerly of Charlotte, MI, age 83, went to be with the Lord on Wed. Feb. 3, 2016 at the Laurels of Fulton at Perrinton, MI. Carroll was born March 5, 1932 in Olivet, MI the son of Owen L. and Marguerite (Patrick) McLane. He had been a lifelong Charlotte area resident until moving to St. Louis six years ago to live with his daughter. He had been employed at the Fisher Body division of General Motors in Lansing from where he retired after 36 years of service. He was a member of the Charlotte Pentecostal Church of God and U.A.W. Union Local 602. He is survived by: his daughter, Mary Ann (Thomas R.) Lobdell of St. Louis; his son, John Mark McLane of Charlotte; brothers, Terry (Louise) McLane, Michael (Nancy) McLane and David (Jody) McLane; sisters, Joline McLane, Coralyn (Gordon) Sixberry, Julie (Bernard) Hall and Lonna (Lester) Bruder. He was preceded in death by: his parents; his wife, Elberta Jean (Luce) McLane; 4 sons, Joseph Allen McLane, Jeffery David McLane, Jerold Lee McLane and Brian Keith Mclane; 2 sisters, Linda McLane and Jane Arden Farley; 3 brothers, Thomas, Richard and Patrick McLane and infant twin brothers, Jack K. and Bobby Joe McLane. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016 at the Charlotte Pentecostal Church Of God, 610 Jefferson Street, Charlotte, MI 48813 with Pastor David McLane officiating. Visitation/family night will be held from 6-8 PM on Monday at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home in Charlotte. Interment will be in the West Carmel Cemetery, Charlotte.
