Charlene Virginia Murphy

Charlene V. (Rolfe) Murphy of Bellevue, MI, age 86, passed away on Friday May 19, 2017 at the Medilodge of Marshall with her loving family at her side. Charlene was born August 26, 1930 at home in Charlotte the daughter of Stanley and Fern (Kimmel) Rolfe. She was a Graduate of Charlotte High School. Surviving are: her husband of 62 years, Lawrence J. Murphy; Children, Larry (Dodi) Murphy of Washington, DC, Mike (Lori) Murphy of Marshall, Cindy (Toby) Burnett of Charlotte and Terri (Nehrdad) Nekoogar of Washington Township, MI; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Suzanne Devic; sisters-in-law, Rosellen Rolfe and Eleanor Rolfe; brother-in-law, Claude Barber and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: son, Lynn Murphy; her parents; brothers, Bob, Fred and Dick Rolfe; sisters, Kate Barber and Connie Warner; sister-in-law, Loraine Rolfe and brother-in-law, Fred Devic. Per Charlene’s request, cremation has taken place. No services will be held. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Eaton Community Palliative Care, 2675 S. Cochran Rd., Charlotte, MI 48813.
