Cindy Irene Barrus

Cindy I. (Cribley) Barrus, age 62, of Charlotte, MI, died Monday, Oct. 7, 2013. Cindy was born June 27, 1951 in Charlotte the daughter of Richard E. and Barbara J. (Hollandsworth) Cribley and was a lifelong Charlotte area resident. She had been employed at the former Spurgeons of Charlotte and had been manager of the Video Store at the former Felpausch Store of Charlotte. Surviving are: her husband of 43 years, Thomas M. Barrus; Daughter, Teresa (Chad) Cushman of Lansing; Son, Thomas R. (Becky) Barrus of Huntley, IL; Granddaughters, Gabby and Paige Cushman; Grandsons, Jackson and Tyler Barrus and two brothers, Fred Cribley and Steve Cribley both of Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be held from 6-8 P.M. Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home of Charlotte. At Cindy’s request, cremation will follow the visitation. No services will be held. Memorial contributions may go to the National Kidney Foundation.
