Coral Corkey Bailey

Coral B. “Corkey” Bailey age 81 of Bellevue, MI passed away Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012 at her home under the loving care of her family. “Corkey” was born Oct. 26, 1930 in Albion Township, Calhoun County the daughter of C. Lawrence and Frieda (Grunderman) Winchell. She enjoyed quilting, woodcrafting, flower gardening and watching T.V. Surviving are: 2 daughters, Janet Abbott and Leslea Boyd both of Bellevue; 3 stepsons, Harold “Ike” Bailey of Battle Creek, Gary Bailey and Joe (Linda) Bailey both of Bellevue; 18 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and sisters, Joyce White of Florida, Joan Burkett of Vermontville, Susie Green of Nashville and Alice Ormsbee of Bellevue. She was preceded in death by husbands, William Wakefield and Harold “Pete” Bailey; daughters, Judy, Carol & Connie; 2 grandchildren, Michael & Leeann; brother, Lawrence and sisters, Pricilla, Roberta and Katherine. At “Corkeys” request, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral services. Memorial contributions may go to the Make A Wish Foundation or to Oaklawn Hospice.
