Dale E. Loveland

Dale E. Loveland of Charlotte, Michigan, age 89, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2017 at the Eaton Community Palliative Care with his loving family at his side. Dale was born November 27, 1927 in Chester Township the son of Leon and Zella (Williams) Loveland and lived most of his life in the Charlotte area. He had served in the U. S. Army and had been employed at the Maeward Couplings in Olivet from where he retired. He had served on the Charlotte Volunteer Fire Department for 20 years. Surviving are: his children, Michael (Wanda) Loveland of Charlotte, Trudy (Darrold) Lehman of Olivet, Beth (Phil) Scramlin of Climax, Lewis (Susan) Pulsipher of Gainesville, FL and Jim (Karen) Pulsipher of Sterling, VA; Grandchildren, Michael (Lynn) Loveland, Jr., Troy Loveland, Stacy (Scott) Meek, Jody (Tyler) Kent, Mike Thompson, Angela (Ken) Poulin, Betsy Upton and Phillip Scramlin; 8 great grandchildren and his sister, Francis (Ed) Carpenter. He was preceded in death by: his parents; Wife, Betty; brothers, Donald, Dutch and Frankie and his sisters, Theda Devenbaugh, Dorene Pratt and Lois Thompson. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home in Charlotte with Rev. Philip Hobson officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Morgan Cemetery in Leroy Township of Calhoun County.
