Dale Frederick Rehard

Dale F. Rehard of Charlotte, Michigan, age 83, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017 at his home with his loving family at his side. Mr. Rehard was born October 20, 1933 in Isleta, Ohio the son of Roger and Ethel (Bowers) Rehard and had been a Charlotte resident for about 13 years. He was a Graduate of Sugarcreek-Shanesville High School and attended Kent State University in Ohio. He was a retired Colonel in the Ohio Army National Guard where he had served 32 years and had retired from Motor Wheel in Lansing. Surviving are: his loving wife of 60 years, Molly Ann (Showers) Rehard; daughter, Traci (Bob) VanMiddlesworth of Battle Creek; sons, Craig (Lois) Rehard of Cape Coral FL and Douglas (Leslie) Rehard of Charlotte and nine grandchildren. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, January 30, 2017 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home in Charlotte with Rev. Charles Jenson officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to services on Monday. Private family interment with Military Honors will be held at the Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, Michigan.
