Dale George Hose

Dale George Hose, age 70, of Charlotte, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on Sunday, May 16, 2021. He was born October 3, 1950, in Hastings, the son of Earl and Mildred (Leedy) Hose. Dale graduated from Maple Valley High School in 1969. He went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Navy. On January 19, 1973, he married the love of his life, Judy Ann Simmons, in Nashville. Dale worked for many years as a custodian at the State Forensics Lab. Dale adored his family and was especially fond of spending time together with his grandchildren. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and creating model cars. Dale is survived by his wife of 48 years, Judy; sons: Dale A. Hose of Ypsilanti, Josh (Shawn) Hose of Charlotte, Andrew Hose of Decatur, Indiana; grandchildren: Sydney, Joshua, Brayden, Savannah, Aleksander, Sebstain, Korbin, Maddie; and his brother, Dwaine Hose of Grand Rapids. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 2 P.M. at the Burkhead-Green-Kilgo Funeral Home with John Bailey officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Those desiring, may make contributions in Dale’s memory to the family.
