David Gene Richmond

David Gene Richmond, age 82, of Charlotte, formerly of Lansing, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, September 20, 2021. He was born March 4, 1939, in DeWitt the son of Frank and Elizabeth (Keck) Richmond. Dave graduated from DeWitt High School with the class of 1957. On October 14, 1961, he married Paula Ann Milliman at the Pilgrim Congregational Church in Lansing. Dave was a devoted family man and cherished his grandchildren. He retired from Michigan National Bank after 31 faithful years of service. Dave is survived by his wife, Paula; children: Kirk (Becky) Richmond, Misty Starr; grandchildren: Brandon Currin, Amber Currin, Paige Richmond, Jordan (Ty) Hisler; and great granddaughter, Preslee Richmond. He was preceded in death by his parents and 5 siblings. In keeping with Dave’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Those desiring, may make contributions in Dave’s honor to the Greater Lansing Food Bank.
