Dean Orren Hunt, age 72 of Olivet, MI, died Monday, April 2, 2012 at the Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo, MI. Dean was born February 18, 1940 in Jackson, MI the son of Orren and Agnes (Causie) Hunt and had been an Olivet resident for 20 years. He was a Graduate of Parma High School, had served in the U. S. Army, was a retired Sales Representative in Wholesale Foods and Tobacco business and had owned and operated Party Stores in the area. He enjoyed woodworking, golfing and telling jokes. He was an avid MSU Spartan fan and a Detroit Tigers fan. Surviving are: his wife, Kathy (Ingram) Hunt; son, Bobby (Lindsey) Hunt of Cement City, MI; daughters, Suzie Hunt of Kalamazoo and Lisa Meyers of Plainwell; step daughters, Kristy Taylor of Olivet and Jodi Harris of Charlotte and 6 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother and 2 sisters. Visitation will be held from 6-8 P. M. Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home, Charlotte.
