Dolores Jane Kleinfelt

Dolores Jane Kleinfelt, age 86, of Charlotte, passed away Friday, October 11, 2019, in Marshall. She was born November 11, 1932, in Battle Creek the daughter of John and Lana (Bracy) Crilly. Dolores graduated from Olivet High School in 1950. On February 16, 1951, she married William John Kleinfelt. Together Dolores and Bill owned and operated Kleinfelt Well Drilling for many years. Dolores was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She adored her family and loved the special time they spent together. Dolores loved gardening, bird watching, painting, drawing, and completing crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed the many trips she and Bill were able to make to many different casinos across the state. Dolores is survived by her husband of 68 years, William; children: Wm Bryan (Wanda) Kleinfelt of Charlotte, Keith Alan (Kelli) Kleinfelt of Olivet, Jane (Steven) Sobleskey of Charlotte; grandchildren: Matthew (Rebecca) Kleinfelt, Ashley (JT) Britton, Sarah (Jeremy) Kemp, Liesl (Steve) Spence, Kali Kleinfelt, Thomas Sobleskey, Tyler Sobleskey; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Carol Akins; brother, Nyle "Bub" Crilly. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings: Barbara Haun, John Crilly, Kenneth Crilly, and Genevie Miller. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at 1 P.M. with Pastor David Turley officiating at the Burkhead-Green-Kilgo Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at 12:00 P.M., one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at West Carmel Cemetery.
