Doris (Darling) (Roberts) Orrison

Doris (Darling) (Roberts) Orrison, age 93 of Charlotte, MI, formerly of Albion and Olivet, MI, died Saturday, July 21, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Orrison was born Feb. 26, 1919 in Albion, MI the daughter of Charles and Vieva (Ford) Darling and was a lifelong area resident. She worked for many years as a receptionist for Dr. Ralph Cram in Albion, had been a member of the Albion Garden Club and enjoyed bird watching. She was preceded in death by husbands, Charles W. Roberts and Jesse E. Orrison; 2 sisters, Virginia King and Patricia Railer and her brother, Wendell Darling. Surviving are: her daughter, Pamela (Richard) Babcock of Olivet; grandson, James (Candy) Obrinski of Olivet; step son, Wayne (Phyllis) Orrison of Rockton, IL and 2 great grandchildren, Tyler and Audrey McGlaughlin. Per Mrs. Orrison’s request, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the Riverside Cemetery in Albion, MI.
