Doris E. (Lynd) Masters

Doris E. (Lynd) Masters age 79 of Charlotte, died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010 at the Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall. Doris was born Nov. 19, 1930 in Charlotte, the daughter of William and Ethel (Green) Lynd and had been a lifelong Eaton County resident. She was mainly a homemaker but had worked at Olivet College for a short time many years ago. Surviving are: three children, David Masters of Hudson, FL, Shirley (Thomas) Rinckey of Charlotte and Larry (Kathleen) Masters of Charlotte; 5 grandchildren, Patricia Cain, Laura Masters, Eric Masters, Sarah Wyatt and Taryn Rinckey; 2 great grandchildren, Kristen Hydon and Lily Wyatt; 1 sister, Pauline Dies of Whitmore Lake and 2 sisters-in-law, Delores Carleton of Olivet and Betty Masters of Charlotte. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Masters on April 25, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home, Charlotte with Pastor Winford Collins officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
