Doris Evelyn Duggan

Doris E. Duggan of Charlotte, MI, formerly of Gratiot County, age 89, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017 at her residence. Mrs. Duggan was born Feb. 17, 1928 in Coe Township of Isabella County, near Shepherd, MI the daughter of Lewis and Edna (Owen) Studer. She had been a Charlotte resident for about 10 years. She was a retired Dietician having worked in a hospital in Baldwin Park, California. She was currently a member of the First Lutheran Church of Charlotte and was a member of the Gleaners. For many years she was a competitive Ball Room Dancer and enjoyed playing Euchre and many other card games. She is survived by: her daughter, Sharon L (significant other, Marshall) Munson of Howell, MI; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, James Duggan; sons, Larry Duggan and Michael Duggan and 5 siblings. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the First Lutheran Church, 550 E. Shepherd St., Charlotte, MI 48813 with Pastor Timothy Olson officiating. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the Memorial Service at the Church. Memorial contributions may go to the First Lutheran Church.
