Earl M. Boehmer

Earl Matthew Boehmer, age 57, of Olivet passed away Sunday, October 1, 2017 with his family by his side. He was born February 3, 1960 in Charlotte the son of Earl W. and Thela A. (DeLong) Boehmer. Earl was a proud father and grandfather. He adored spending time together with his family. He owned and operated Earl M. Boehmer CPA, Charlotte Crane, and JETE Inc. Earl was a farmer at heart. He loved working around cattle and took pride in his familys Angus seedstock operation. Earl was a lifelong member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Charlotte and the Michigan Cattlemans Association. He is survived by his children: Evan (Grace) Boehmer of Olivet, Erika (James Williams) Boehmer of Mayville; grandchildren: Gabrielle, Emerson, and Maddox Williams; siblings: Mary (John) Gehrig, Bob (Mary) Boehmer, Mark (Debbie) Boehmer; sister-in-law, Spring Boehmer; and numerous nieces and nephews. Earl was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jim Boehmer. The family would like to thank Tammy and Amber Foster for their wonderful care during Earls illness. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 10 A.M. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Charlotte with Rev. Fr. Dwight Ezop celebrating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 P.M. and 5-8 P.M. with a rosary being prayed at 8 P.M. at the Burkhead-Green-Kilgo Funeral Home, Charlotte. Interment will take place in Kalamo Hillside Cemetery.
