Eleanor (Coats) (Strohm) Maynard

Eleanor (Coats) (Strohm) Maynard, age 90, of Lewiston, MI, formerly of the Charlotte, Olivet & Marshall area, went to be with the Lord on Wed. Feb. 15, 2012 in Lewiston in the loving care of her family. She was born Nov. 6, 1921 in Marengo Twp., Calhoun County the daughter of Milo and Edna (Reid) Coats. She had been mainly a homemaker but had been employed for a while in the Vermontville Schools cafeteria and at the Glen Arbor Laundry. She was preceded in death by: son, Allen Lloyd Strohm; husbands, Ivan Lloyd Strohm and Jesse Maynard; her parents, Milo & Edna Coats; Siblings, Charles, Nellie and Wayne and grandchildren, Clayton Andrew Strohm and Mary Ellen Reynolds. She is survived by: Daughter & son-in-law, Joan & Alan Bishop of Olivet, MI; Son & daughter-in-law, Kenneth & Cheryl Strohm of Lewiston, MI; Daughter, Carole Scott of Caro, MI; 20 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren and sister, Georgia Wilcox of Jackson, MI. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home, Charlotte, MI with Pastor Winford Collins officiating. Interment will be in the Partello Cemetery in Lee Township, Calhoun County. Visitation will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
