Elwood George Pfeiffer

Elwood G. Pfeiffer, age 76, of Potterville, passed away peacefully Sunday, August 11, 2019, at his home. He was born September 18, 1942, in Romulus, MI the son of Elwood and Mary (ODriscol) Pfeiffer. On February 5, 2002, he married Linda D. Moon in Potterville. Elwood faithfully served his country in the United States Army. Upon returning home from the Army he worked for several years as a police officer and then finished out his career working in construction. Elwood was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and great grandfather. He loved spending time together with his grandchildren. Grandpa was a little boy at heart and could often be found tussling around on the floor with the children. In his spare time Elwood enjoyed muscle cars especially, his AMC Javelin, collecting model police cars, and bowling. He is survived by his wife, Linda; children: Scott (Rhonda) Pfeiffer, Lauri (Bobby) Miles, Daniel (Alinda) King, Christy King, Nicole (Aaron) Myers, Tiffany (Jim) Cox; 12 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and sister, Pat Browing. Elwood was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Jeannette Pfeiffer. In keeping with Elwoods wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
