Frances A. Spotts

Frances A. Spotts passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at the Eaton County Health and Rehab Services in Charlotte. She was born in Byron Center March 13, 1925, the daughter of Samuel and Bertha (Ball) Harmsen. Frances went on to graduate from Byron Center High School. In 1946 she married Clifford E. Spotts. She was very appreciative of the wonderful care she received at the Eaton County Health and Rehab Services and enjoyed all the wonderful activities put on by the caring staff. Frances is survived by her children: Paula (Louis) DeFabio of Charlotte, Steven Spotts of Charlotte; grandchildren: Lori Spotts, Kristina (James) Hurley, Becky (Cory) Hewitt, Crystal (Chris) Kuzma, Stevie Jo Spotts; great grandchildren: Brittanie Hewitt, Kaiden Elsey, Gloria Spotts, Eden Hurley, and Kenley Hewitt. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Clifford in 2015; son Linden Spotts in 1974; and brothers: Chester, Ward, Ivan and Paul Harmsen. Funeral services for Frances will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at 12 PM at the Burkhead-Green-Kilgo Funeral Home, Charlotte. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10 AM-12 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery, Charlotte. Those desiring may make contributions in Frances’s memory to the Eaton County Health and Rehab Services Activities Department.
