Frances J. Brown age 83 of Charlotte, MI, died Tuesday, October 05, 2010 at the Eaton Community Hospice House. Fran was born June 22, 1927 in Burnwell, Alabama, the daughter of Frank and Blanche (Conort) Long and had been a Charlotte resident since 1959 coming from Pontiac, MI. She was a former member of the Charlotte Country Club and the Charlotte Woman’s Club GFWC. Surviving are: her husband of 62 years, William J. Brown; 3 sons, William J. Brown III of Eaton Rapids, David M. Brown of Lake Odessa and Robert M. (Cecille) Brown of Birmingham, MI; 6 grandchildren, Marci (Marcel) Pfeiffer, Tessa (Chris) Wackerle, Adam Brown, Ian Brown, Mary Brown and Justin Brown and 4 great grandsons. She was preceded in death by her Father, Mother, step-father, Gomer Doak and step-brother, Gomer Doak, Jr. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Saturday, October 9, 2010 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home, Charlotte with Rev. Rebecca Morrison officiating. Interment will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 P.M. Friday at the Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may go to the Eaton Community Hospice House. 2675 S.
