Gary Robert Bobier

Gary R. Bobier, age 78, of Charlotte, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born June 15, 1943, in Charlotte, the son of Richard and Dorothy (Montgomery) Bobier. Gary graduated from Corunna High School in 1962. On June 22, 1985, Gary married the love of his life, Bettie Jean Soule at The Peoples Church in East Lansing. He was a dedicated employee of General Motors for over 30 years. Gary loved the outdoors and enjoyed being out in God’s creation. He hunted, fished, and cut wood whenever he could. Gary and Bettie loved spending time together. They were truly inseparable their entire marriage and he will be deeply missed. Gary is survived by his wife of 36 years, Bettie; son, Gary Bobier II of Owosso; daughter, Theresa (Kevin) Kleinhenz of Mason; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; special family friends: Denny and Shelly Hagman of Springport; brother, Gordon (Brenda) Bobier of Florida; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Jackie Ward. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Those desiring may make contributions in Gary’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
