George E. Perry

George E. Perry of Olivet, Michigan, age 84, died unexpectedly on Friday Aug. 3, 2012. George was born May 21, 1928 in Olivet, MI the son of Stanley and Rhea (Krebs) Perry and was a lifelong area resident. He had been employed for a while with the Railroad, the Olivet Dairy and most recently at the Olivet Public Schools from where he retired after more than 30 years of service. Surviving are: his wife of 65 years, Ruth (Jaquette) Perry; 5 children, Steve (Gloria) Perry of Charlotte, Denny (Cheryl) Perry of Gainesville, FL, Linda (Andy) Weaver of Edgerton, OH, Larry (Irene) Perry of Olivet and Rick Perry of Olivet; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and his sister, Delores Briggs of Wyoming, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Lawrence Perry and Vinton Perry. Per George’s request, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral services.
