Gerald "Jerry" Rydzewski

Gerald “Jerry” Rydzewski, age 71, of Olivet, passed away unexpectedly on March 9, 2021. Jerry was born on September 16, 1949 in Dearborn, Michigan, to Chester and Anna (Zboch) Rydzewski. He attended Catholic School in his grade school years and his high school years were spent at Ruddiman High School in Detroit. Jerry was employed at many different businesses during his life as a metal worker. He loved his dog and his two cats. Jerry had a passion for classic cars and one of his hobbies was attending car shows in the area. Jerry is survived by his two sisters; Theresa and Catherine Rydzewski of Westland. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Cheryl Whitehead-Rydzewski in 2007, and his brothers. Per Jerry’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no memorial services are planned at this time.
