Glenda Sue Kling of Olivet, MI, age 74 died Monday, June 1, 2015 at the Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo, Glenda was born Nov. 12, 1940 in Albion, MI the daughter of Maxwell and Rosemary Gull. She had been an Olivet resident since 1970 and with her husband Edward H. Kling, had owned and operated the Olivet Pharmacy. He preceded her in death in 1983 and she continued operating the Pharmacy until retiring in August of 2014. She was a Graduate of Marshall High School, was a member of the Olivet Congregational Church, the Olivet Chamber of Commerce and was one of the founders of the Olivet Tree Fund. She was actively involved in the Olivet Community and the Olivet Congregational Church. Surviving are: two sons, Rock A. Kling of Bellevue and Andrew Edward Kling of Olivet; 2 grandchildren, Caleb Andrew Kling and Drew Edward Kling; 3 sisters, Shirley (George) Zaremba of Marshall, Nancy (Larry) Michiels of Atlanta, MI and Marilyn (Doran) Quigg of Pennsylvania and 1 brother, John Nash of Marshall. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward H. Kling; her parents and step-father, Gordon Nash. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 4, 2015 at the Olivet Congregational Church in Olivet with Rev. Jack Brown officiating. Interment will be in the Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home in Charlotte. Memorial contributions may go to the Olivet Congregational Church.
