Glenna Mae (Snyder) Potter of Charlotte, MI. Glenna Mae (Snyder) Potter’s struggle with dementia ended May 31, 2016 at the Eaton County Medical Care Facility. She was born March 22, 1927 in Charlotte to Raymond and Gladys (Karr) Snyder. She was a 1944 graduate of Charlotte High School. She married Milton Potter in February 1976. He predeceased her in September 2000. Also preceding her in death was her sister, Norma Johnson and brothers, Philip and Raymond Snyder. She is survived by three children, Marsha (Ted) Whipple, Lori (Rick) Olson and Tom (Sandy Barrier) Howe; three grandchildren, Randy (Kim) Howe, Amanda Olson and Lindsey (Wade) Olson-McGrady; great granddaughter, Makenna Elyse; a step granddaughter Melissa (Sivad) Howard, their daughter Londyn and step grandson Jason Whetstone and his son Ashton. Glenna worked at Richey’s Dry Goods store for many years, worked as a secretary at the Eaton County 4-H Fair Office and had provided In Home day care. She was a Grey Lady Volunteer at the local Hospital and was a member and Past President of VFW Post 2406 Auxiliary. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 3, 2016 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home with Pastor John Bailey officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday.
