Helen Lee Rice

Helen Lee Rice, age 81, of Bellevue passed away Saturday, November 11, 2017 at her home. She was born September 7, 1936 in Olivet the daughter of Glen and Irene (Hisler) Tanner. Helen graduated from Olivet High School with the class of 1954. On July 11, 1959 she married Paul Eugene Rice. Helen worked for State Farm Insurance in Marshall as an underwriting assistant for 41 years. She enjoyed her many horses, shopping, and going to garage sales. Helen is survived by her children: Robert Rice of Nashville, Tammy Roush of Bellevue; four grandchildren: Robert (Kiley) Roush, Travis Roush, Katie Rice, and Emily Rice; five great grandchildren: Kayla Roush, Payton Roush, Hunter Roush, Alec Roush, Brice Rounds; sister, Arlene Roberts of Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Paul. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 10 AM 12 PM at the Burkhead-Green-Kilgo Funeral Home, Charlotte. Interment will immediately follow at Riverside Cemetery in Bellevue. Those desiring may make contributions in Helens honor to the family.
