Jack Keeny

Jack Keeny age 83 of Charlotte, died Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009 at the Eaton County Medical Care Facility after a lengthy illness. Jack was born June 24, 1926 in Charlotte the son of Ward and Nora (Carpenter) Keeny and was a life resident of Charlotte. He had attended Charlotte Schools, had served in the U. S. Navy during World War Two, had been employed as Die Head at A. E. Hoover in Charlotte from where he retired in 1988 and was an avid bowler. He is survived by: his loving wife of 54 years, Arlene (Kipp) Keeny; sister, Elaine Lundstrum of Coldwater and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Elsie Keeny and brother, Kenneth Keeny. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A Memorial graveside service will be held at 11:00 A. M. Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009 at the Bosworth Cemetery, Olivet with Rev. Charles Jenson officiating. A Luncheon/Reception will follow services at the American Legion Post #42 in Charlotte.
