James Carl Perry

James Carl Perry age 90 of Charlotte, MI, died Saturday, Dec. 26, 2009 at his residence after an extended illness. James was born April 20, 1919 in Charlotte the son of Carl and Ethel (Pohlard) Perry and was a life resident of Charlotte. He had been employed as a heavy equipment operator, was a member of the Operating Engineers and had also been employed as an Eaton County Animal Control Officer. He was a charter member of the Charlotte Eagles Aerie #3552. Surviving are: Children, Robert (Patricia) Perry of Vermontville, Dianne Matson of Hastings, Susan (Rick) VanLandingham of Middlebury, IN, Mark Perry of Coldwater, John (Carla) Perry of Quincy, Richard (Elyse) Fogle of Holt, Vickie (Robert) Stojisavljevich of Crown Point, IN, Randall (Susan) Fogle of Charlotte and Kelley Dane of Charlotte; daughter-in-law, Rosetta Perry of Florida; 21 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther L. (Root) Perry on June 18, 2007 and by a son, James David Perry. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at 12 Noon, Saturday, January 9, 2010 at the Charlotte Eagles Aerie #3552, 116 Lansing St. in Charlotte with Rev. Charles Jenson officiating.
