James Edward Brzycki

James Edward Brzycki, age 66, of Charlotte, passed away unexpectedly on April 15, 2019. He was born June 4, 1952, in Charlotte, the son of Edward and Mary (Rich) Brzycki. On July 24, 1976, he married Sandra Kay Kendra in Charlotte. Jim had many hobbies throughout his life. He enjoyed cooking, gardening, helping others, and attending auction sales. He retired form General Motors in Lansing after 30 years of service. Jim is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sandra; children: Corky (Monika) Brzycki of North Pole, AK, Jennifer (Daniel) Lundquist of Nashville, Joshua (Teresa Gordon) of Grand Ledge, Roxanne Post of Charlotte; 5 grandchildren: Briar Brzycki, Tatjana Brzycki, Carleigh Lundquist, Alexandria Lundquist, Hailey Post; sister, Rosalie "Lu" Conroy, and brother-in-law, George Quillan. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Marilyn Baum, Barbara Quillan; and brother-in-law, John Conroy. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 19, 2019, at 11 A.M. at the Burkhead-Green-Kilgo Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
