James J Wiltse

James J Wiltse of Charlotte, MI, age 90, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2015 at the Sparrow Hospital. Jim was born June 12, 1924 in Hill Township of Ogemaw County, Michigan the son of Fred and Laura (Brown) Wiltse. He served in the U. S. Marine Corps during World War Two and had been employed as an Industrial Rigger for the Dow Chemical Company in Midland from where he retired. He is survived by: his wife, Elsie; sons, Gary (Jan) Wiltse of Grand Rapids and Douglas Wiltse of Midland; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wife, Lauretta and children, Kelly, Karen and Jill. A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 21, 2015 at the Charlotte Community of Christ Church, 223 South Washington Street in Charlotte where Jim had been a member for 29 years. High Priest Melvin Crowley will officiate. A Supper/Reception immediately following the Memorial Service will be held at the Eaton Area Senior Center, 804 South Cochran in Charlotte.
