James M. Cain, Jr., age 80 of Fairfield, IL, formerly of Charlotte, Olivet and Marshall, MI, died March 27 in Fairfield, IL. Jim was born April 2, 1931 in Plymouth, Indiana. He was a retired employee of Eaton Mfg. Co. of Marshall with 30 years of service. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and the American Legion. Surviving are: his son, Richard (Shelley) Cain of West Lafayette, IN; daughter, Valerie (Ronald) Lake of East Leroy, MI; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and his sister, Jane Brangwyn of Bellevue. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorice Cain; sisters, Thelma Rains and Mary Ripley and brother, Darrell Cain. Graveside services will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, July 21, 2012 at the Lee Center Cemetery,V Drive North, Olivet, Mich. with Pastor John Bailey officiating.
